It never ceases to amaze me when people take a position and vehemently defend it until it affects then personally. So that is how Dick Chenney is against gays, until his daughter turns out to be one, or Nancy Reagan is all Republican hardliner until Bush opposes stem cell research that could one day save people from Alzheimer's, which killed her husband, or.. Well the latest one is Justice Scalia, who defends the weakening of private information protection but is furious when it affects him.
